Heinz at Fortnum & Mason

Happy 150th Birthday Heinz!

In 1886 H.J. Heinz arrived in London with a suitcase full of his delicious baked beans. First port of call was Fortnum & Mason who loved what they tasted, becoming the very first UK stockist of Heinz products and the beautiful relationship has continued ever since.

To celebrate this amazing milestone, Heinz turned to the Create team and asked them to conjure magic, telling this unique story in all eight of Fortum & Mason’s iconic windows and central store atrium in Piccadilly.

Within a very tight time frame, the Create team designed, manufactured and installed this unique project all under one roof. Showcasing each of the brand’s iconic products from ketchup to baked beans, using a mix of hand sculpting, painting and neon lighting.

Key results:

  • Picked up by national media within 12 hours of being unveiled,  shoppers flock to Fortnum & Mason’s store to look.
  • Kraft Heinz are delighted with the project and the positive media generated.
  • Fortnum & Mason comment that the installation is one of the smoothest they have experienced.
